NIHON-DEN KOYAMA-RYU KOBUJUTSU

Samurai and Ninpo heiho

Prof. Bonanno is Shidoin in Nihon Jujutsu and Samurai heiho, registered under the International Martial Arts & Culture Federation and the Armored Samurai Battle Associaiotn (both from Osaka); the IMCF federation is endorsed by the Ministry of State for Special Missions of Japan.

Over the years, he has explored various styles, starting with the modern Shorinjiryu Jujutsu (ISJF), then the military Combat Jujutsu system while enlisted in the Carabinieri Force, continuing with Daitoryu Aikijujutsu (Renshinkan) up to shodan, and then with Mondoryu Heiho family style of M. Yokoyama Sensei, to which he combined tojutsu.

For a short time he studied Teshin Shoden Katori Shintoryu iaijutsu, up to the tachi iai program.

In 2013, he also began studying Toyamaryu Iaido Morinaga-ha and served as the Italian Shibu-cho of the Zen Nippon Toyamaryu Iaido Kyokai.

He is currently studying Negishiryu shurikenjutsu e Koga-ryu ninpo taijutsu under Y. Hayasaka Soke.

The Nihon-den Koyamaryu Kobujutsu of Taigishinkan is a system that aims at the research and practice of old a samurai and ninpo heiho (tactics), then kumiuchi, taijutsu techniques and some buki waza such katana, jo, shuriken, etc.. All fighting tactics derive from koryu schools, examples of which of particular interest are: Mondo-ryu, Negishi-ryu, Koga-ryu, Toyama-ryu, Yamamoto-ryu, etc. and there is also a study dedicated to shinobi strategies interconnected with some of these schools.
